These PML rear end differential covers fit the 14 bolt GM 9.5 inch rear differential. Some possible applications are:

Configurations vary. Always check your vehicle to verify differential and clearance. For each model and year there may be more than one rear axle possible. Check your stock cover shape and number of bolts. Check for space to spare tires, pan hard and sway bars, and similar and see Installations for examples.
Generally pre 2000 trucks and SUVS have plenty of clearance behind the rear differential for this large differential cover.
1999 and later models made need the PML GM 9.5 pattern fin cover or H2 cover since these covers are less deep.

This PML part is designed for GMC and Chevy trucks and SUVs looking for an extra capacity round shape rear differential cover with classic straight fins.
PML makes three covers for the GM 9.5 inch ring gear differential. All three fit the differential.
Benefits:

- Sand cast aluminum construction for thick walls
- Machined gasket flange for a secure seal
- Round shape similar to profile of stock cover
The tall fins and round shape require extra space around the stock differential cover. Many pre–2000 GMC and Chevrolet trucks and SUVs have space while newer vehicles may have spare tires or torsion bars and need one of the other PML GM 9.5 14 bolt covers. Check your clearance before ordering.

Optional Temperature Sensor Port
The boss on the side can optionally be machined for temperature sending unit. There is a machining charge and a plug is included.
Matching Front Cover for 4WD
PML makes a matching differential cover for the GM Front 8.5, 10 Bolt.
Fill and Level Check
The fill hole is on the front of the cover in the same level as the stock cover. The level check hole is on the differential housing. Fill and check the fluid level with this PML cover just like with the stock cover.
Gasket Information
PML recommends RTV or paper/fiber gaskets or cork composite gaskets.
PML machines the gasket surface of our differential covers flat. The flange surface of the differential housing is also machined flat. A thin bead of RTV silicon sealant makes an excellent seal between two machined surfaces.
